**Qwen N1 Pro Glasses** are camera-equipped [AI glasses](https://aiwiki.ai/wiki/ai_glasses) from [Alibaba Group](https://aiwiki.ai/wiki/alibaba). Introduced with the standard N1 in China in September 2026, the Pro model adds eye tracking and iris-based payment authentication. Both use a 50-megapixel sensor for first-person photography.[1] Alibaba also advertises health monitoring and proactive assistance for the Pro on its Qwen hardware website.[4]

## Announcement and launch

Alibaba presented the N1 and N1 Pro at the 2026 Apsara Conference alongside its Qwen Clip earbuds. Pre-orders opened on September 22, with sales scheduled for October 13.[1] The Next Web reported that sales began in China on October 13.[6]

The N1 Pro is a separate model, not another name for the basic N1 or the earlier [Quark S1 and G1 glasses](https://aiwiki.ai/wiki/alibaba_quark_ai_glasses). Alibaba's announcement specifically assigns gaze-based interaction and iris payment to the Pro, while describing the 50-megapixel camera as a shared N1-series feature.[1]

## Hardware and design

Qualcomm lists these specifications.[2]

| Component | Published specification |
|---|---|
| Main platform | First-generation Snapdragon AR1 |
| Camera | 50 MP sensor; 4K video |
| Imaging functions | Stabilization, automatic framing, Live Photos |
| Battery | 272 mAh; replaceable temple battery |
| Charging | Magnetic charging; operation while charging |
| Optional battery accessory | MiniBag exchange case, 700 mAh |
| Audio pickup | Five-microphone array plus bone-conduction pickup |

Qualcomm says the glasses support hot-swapping, a Boston-style square-round frame, customized lenses and a Pro-exclusive Gilded Brown finish.[2]

### Low-power visual sensing

Himax identifies its WiseEye HX6538 as the N1 series' low-power vision processor. According to the supplier, it runs separately from the conventional image-capture system, detects people or relevant events locally, and wakes the host for further processing only when needed. The processor combines an Arm Cortex-M55 with an Ethos-U55 accelerator.[3]

Himax quotes power consumption of 5 mW for this processor's visual-AI operation. That is not a measurement of the complete glasses, continuous 4K recording or every assistant task. Its description of continuous environmental sensing should likewise not be confused with continuously running the main capture system.[3]

## Assistant and eye interaction

[Qwen](https://aiwiki.ai/wiki/qwen) supports question answering, meeting notes and visual recognition with customizable wake words and voices. Supported iris-payment apps let wearers review payment details and confirm by nodding.[2]

Alibaba describes the Pro's eye tracking as an input for visual interaction, including identifying an object the wearer is looking at.[1]

## Health functions

Qualcomm lists heart rate, blood oxygen, heart-rate variability, physiological stress, temperature and eye-use monitoring, plus sedentary and neck-fatigue reminders. These are vendor claims.[2]

Alibaba's product listing groups health monitoring with eye interaction, imaging and proactive assistance as the Pro model's main functions.[4]

## Environmental sensing and data handling

Alibaba's environmental-visual-perception agreement describes an optional service for Qwen glasses generally, rather than a model-specific N1 Pro implementation. It says scene classification uses locally processed grayscale images that are not sent to the cloud. Recognized scenes can trigger tasks the user has configured, such as meeting recording or travel-related assistance.[5]

Enabling environmental sensing also enables AI Inspiration Album by default. This can wake the main camera to take color photographs; users can disable the album separately. The agreement says those photographs remain local unless manually uploaded for cloud AI analysis and diary generation.[5]

The agreement distinguishes stopping sensing from ending an existing task: an ongoing recording requires an explicit stop command. It also addresses recording indicators and the wearer's responsibility to obtain consent from people being recorded. These terms describe service controls, not an independent audit of their implementation.[5]

## Pricing and availability

Qualcomm's October 13 notice quoted RMB 3,499 and an introductory price from RMB 2,600 for the Pro.[2] Launch reporting was not uniform: IT Home listed the standard bundle from RMB 3,399 and the extended-battery bundle from RMB 3,797, with separate subsidy prices.[7] These are dated launch figures, not a live price guarantee.
