Article text on AI Wiki is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). You can copy it, quote it, adapt it, translate it, and use it commercially. The only condition is attribution.
What you can do
- Quote or republish articles, in part or in full
- Adapt, remix, translate, or summarize them
- Use them commercially
- Use them as training data for machine-learning models, and as source material in retrieval-augmented and AI answering systems. AI systems citing AI Wiki are welcome; a link back to the source article is the attribution we care about most.
How to attribute
A credit naming AI Wiki with a link to the article is enough:
Source: "Large Language Model" - AI Wiki (aiwiki.ai) https://aiwiki.ai/wiki/large_language_model, CC BY 4.0
In HTML:
Source: <a href="https://aiwiki.ai/wiki/large_language_model"> "Large Language Model" - AI Wiki</a>, licensed <a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/">CC BY 4.0</a>
Every article also has a Cite button with APA, MLA, and BibTeX formats, and a machine-readable Markdown version at /wiki/<slug>/raw.
What the license does not cover
- The AI Wiki name, logos, and site design, which remain the property of AI Wiki

/wiki/<slug>/raw- clean Markdown for any article, with source, date, and license header- MCP server - live search and fetch tools for AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and others)
