Minara Harness
Minara Harness is a financial AI agent environment introduced by Minara on September 8, 2026. It combines research, dashboards, strategy development, and optional trade execution in one workspace. Minara also describes it as a general agent that can write and test code, use a browser and desktop applications, and create documents or presentations.[1][2][3]

Workspace and research
Minara says Harness can operate in local or cloud environments and retain context across sessions. Connectors can add information from other tools, while scheduled workflows can repeat research or monitoring. Data Studio turns a request into an interactive financial dashboard. The user can inspect its plan, source code, and underlying data, and working versions are retained when a later revision fails.[2]
Institution Mode uses a configurable group of specialist agents called a Roundtable. Roles can be assigned to tasks such as fundamental analysis, valuation, opposing thesis review, and risk review. A run retains its configuration, sources, assumptions, disagreements, and incomplete work for inspection.[2]

A backtest is evidence about a historical simulation, not evidence of future returns. Autopilot and execution
Minara's current Autopilot documentation describes continuous operation after the user selects a strategy, defines its trading scope, and confirms the risk settings. The documented instruments include cryptocurrency perpetuals, tokenized stock perpetuals, and commodity perpetuals where the selected venue lists them. They settle in USDC. Autopilot documentation describes mandatory take-profit and stop-loss handling and optional drawdown safety exits for some strategies. It also warns that positions can still be liquidated in fast or gapping markets. A stop request can take time while open positions and orders are processed, and Minara treats a run as finished only when its status reaches STOPPED.[2][5]
Minara calls its account-abstraction wallet non-custodial because the user retains beneficial ownership and can export the controlling private key. Its terms also state that Minara has technical access to the signing keys needed to perform authorized trades until or alongside export. The launch article says the installation guide covers Apple Silicon macOS, Windows, Linux, browser, command-line, and Docker options. It also says setup requires a Minara account for market and trading services plus a large language model provider for reasoning. Native Windows has limits for coding-project and structured Git operations, for which Minara directs users to WSL2 or a supported macOS or Linux environment.[2]
The public download page presented a narrower consumer distribution surface when checked on September 9, 2026. It offered an Apple Silicon desktop application, a web launch option, and iOS and Android links, but no visible Windows or Linux desktop download link.[8] The difference means that documented environment support should not be read as a promise that every installer is publicly available through the same page.
Autopilot is documented as a paid-plan feature. Minara links to a SlowMist security audit conducted from July 30 to August 19, 2025. The report covered the Minara website and a specified repository commit, recorded 23 findings, and concluded with a passing result after fixes and nine acknowledged suggestions. It also says the fixed code was not supplied for review, so fixed issues were checked through black-box testing, and its conclusions apply only to information available before the report was issued.[11] Because the audit predates the September 2026 Harness launch by more than a year, it does not establish that Harness-specific controls or the current deployment were independently assessed.
